My sister went to Jamaica yesterday mornings and as I look at my frost and ice covered windows, I'm utterly jealous! lol I'm trying to keep myself busy with artwork, cleaning, organizing and etc. My friend J is coming over later on today and were going to spend the afternoon/evening shooting and editing some videos for her, then going to spend the rest of the night cooking, drinking, and catching up on horror movies!
I also might swing by the art store this weekend and pick up a few things. I was laying in bed and doodling last night and not particularly trying for anything special, when I realized I was drawing tattoos on a sketch of Snow White! hahaha I swear I draw them on everything! So I wanted to get a new moleskin or sketchbook and using it strictly for tattooed cartoons/things. But any art/craft lover knows you cannot just walk into an art store and get ONE sketchbook... although I will try...
Me + Art store = a realllllly bad mix (and an empty wallet)!

Painted this mini cupcake painting tonight while eating dinner. Didn't turn out too bad :) but... now I'm craving cupcakes!! grrrrrrrr At least I'm caught up with AOTW!

I can finally swallow!! I can finally talk without sounding like a 90 yr old smoker with a breathing machine in my throat!! Woo.. goodbye tonsillitis... hello sketchpad and canvases!

This is what happens when I'm bored at my desk and find colored pencils in my bag. LOL Poor Mr Burns has to suffer with my obsession of drawing tattoos on everything!
I'm not 100% better but I'm feeling well enough to start doodling again. The flu I THOUGHT I had was actually tonsillitis, so it REALLY sucked to be me for the last couple weeks.
If there are any other cartoon characters you would like to see covered in tattoos... let me know. I always like trying new ones. :)

I cant wait till this table is finally DONE. I come home and see how much work needs to be done and it frustrates me, but slowly its getting done. Im HOPING to have it done by next week. *keeps fingers crossed*
And to answer a question Ive received a couple of times... no Im not selling it. Its going to be the table in my dining room. :)

When my roommate moved out she took the dining room table with her... well it was hers lol. I needed a dining room table so we got an unfinished one from Ikea, and I decided to add my geeky flare to it.
You know you're a geek when you draw Xmen on your dining room table in sharpies... If its not clear enough to tell its Wolverine vs Sabretooth.
Day 1- drew it all out in sharpie.
Day 2- started to add paint to it.
Can't wait till its finished!!!
